We are seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeller to support the design and coordination of electrical systems in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring coordination with other disciplines to support project delivery.

The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring coordination with other disciplines to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems (e.g., power, lighting, cable tray, containment, ELV systems) using Revit or similar software
• Prepare shop drawings, single-line diagrams, layout plans, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to resolve clashes and ensure design accuracy
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and assist in resolving coordination issues
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, specifications, and local authority requirements
• Extract quantities and support material take-offs from BIM models
• Update models based on design revisions and site feedback
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and technical discussions
• Maintain proper documentation, file management, and version control

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeller or similar role

Required Skills

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction drawings
• Familiar with BIM workflows and coordination processes
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Will Prefer candidates with local construction experience favourably.
• Experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Singapore codes and standards (e.g., BCA, SCDF, EMA requirements)
• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Knowledge of Dynamo or other automation tools
• Experience in Electrical & ELV systems (CCTV, fire alarm, data, security systems)
